NEXT STEPS: Finalizing the Comprehensive Plan

  • Plan Review: The Draft Comprehensive Plan is available for public viewing! All comments received will be collectively submitted to the Planning Commission for consideration during the Public Hearing on August 13th.

  • Adoption Meetings: In August 2026, the Consultant Team will guide City Staff through the adoption process which includes a Public Hearing before the Planning Commission on August 13th followed by City Council’s adoption of the plan on August 25th.

Upcoming events.

Throughout the planning process, the City will be hosting a series of events from large Open Houses to pop-up events around the community. Representatives from the City and the consultant team will also be attending a variety of community events throughout the process. Join us at one of these public events to learn more about the Comprehensive Plan and share your feedback about the future of Collinsville!
